TERA Batteries took part in Future Energy Summit (FES) Iberia 2026 and strengthened its commitment to energy storage. In a context where the combination of renewable energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS) has become an operational and financial necessity, the company highlighted the development of integrated solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility-scale applications, backed by its alliance as the Official Technical Service of CATL in Europe.
TERA Batteries assessed its participation in Future Energy Summit (FES) Iberia 2026 very positively, describing it as a benchmark forum to analyse the challenges and opportunities redefining Europe’s energy sector.
The event enabled the company to share its vision with developers, investors and industrial stakeholders at a time when the energy transition requires increasingly mature, efficient and financially viable solutions.
One of the key messages from the summit was that the combination of renewable generation and energy storage is no longer a future trend, but a present-day necessity.
Energy storage is consolidating its role as the element that provides manageability, stability and competitiveness to the power system, particularly in industrial environments with high exposure to market volatility.
However, it is not enough to simply generate and store electricity. Intelligent and efficient systems must be designed, and above all, they must be financially viable, delivering tangible efficiency gains for companies.
A clear example of this dynamic is that EU-backed FEDER (European Regional Development Fund) grants cover only around 10% of storage-related applications, demonstrating that market demand is moving ahead of public support mechanisms.
In this context, TERA develops integrated projects tailored to the technical and economic needs of each client. Through BESS solutions for C&I and utility-scale applications, the company aims to maximise self-consumption, reduce peak demand, enable energy arbitrage strategies and provide back-up power.
“Our proposal combines proprietary technology, advanced management systems (Battery Management Systems – BMS – and Energy Management Systems – EMS), intelligent monitoring and technical support throughout the entire implementation and after-sales process,” company representatives stated.
In addition, its status as the Official Technical Service of CATL in Europe reinforces its value proposition, providing technological backing, international quality standards and in-depth expertise in advanced energy storage applications.
The energy transition requires strategic vision, collaboration and industrial execution. Participation in Future Energy Summit Iberia reaffirms TERA’s commitment to a more efficient, digital and sustainable energy model, in which energy storage plays a central role as both a technical and economic asset.
