The Nordex Group closed 2025 with a new annual record, reporting 10.2 GW of wind power orders received, driven by robust activity in the final quarter of the year.

Order intake in the fourth quarter of 2025 reached 3.6 GW, with a total value of €3.175 billion, compared to €2.889 billion recorded in the same period of 2024.

During the last quarter of the year, Nordex secured 3,552 MW of orders in its Projects segment, excluding the services business. This represents an increase of around 9.2% year-on-year, compared to 3,253 MW in the fourth quarter of 2024.

For the full year, project orders totalled 10,214 MW, marking a 22.5% increase compared with 8,336 MW in 2024.
The average selling price (ASP) per megawatt remained broadly stable at €0.89 million/MW in Q4 2025, while the full-year ASP reached €0.91 million/MW, slightly above the €0.90 million/MW recorded in the previous financial year.

According to the company, the modest increase in the annual ASP was mainly driven by project scope and regional mix effects.

Between October and December 2025, customers ordered a total of 577 onshore wind turbines for projects across 12 countries, with the majority of volumes coming from Germany, Canada and France.

“After a very strong order intake in 2024, we were able to maintain this positive momentum in 2025, highlighting the strength of our product portfolio and customer relationships. Most orders came from our core European markets and Canada, where Nordex holds a solid market position. This success has translated into a strong order backlog at year-end, providing a solid foundation for the future,” said José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.
