Rocío Sicre, General Director of EDP Renewables Spain; Rafael Esteban, Global Director of Business Development at ACCIONA Energía; Álvaro Pérez de Lema, CEO of Saeta Yield; and Enrique Pedrosa, COO Europe & LatAm at Repsol Low Carbon Generation, will analyse the pillars that will shape Europe’s energy system over the next decade.

Key issues on the agenda include the need for stable regulatory frameworks, balancing supply security with competitive pricing, the role of storage as a tool for system flexibility, and the integration of renewable hydrogen as a key vector for decarbonisation.

The panellists will also outline their strategies regarding the capacity market, upcoming auctions, the integration of green hydrogen and low-carbon fuels, as well as new investment frameworks to navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Attention will also be given to how companies are addressing future grid stability and redefining priorities in an increasingly competitive market.

FES Iberia 2025 will bring together over 400 public and private sector executives and will feature an agenda packed with thematic panels.

An international session will also be dedicated to the energy transition in Latin America, highlighting investment opportunities, technological cooperation, and regulatory development emerging from the new global landscape of decarbonisation and geopolitical reconfiguration.

The event in Madrid thus positions itself as a key platform to chart the future course of the energy ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on the solutions needed to meet climate and investment targets towards 2030.
