Future Energy Summit (FES) Iberia Renewables & Storage will hold its fourth edition on 12 February 2026 in Madrid and has officially started its countdown with the release of Early Bird tickets, now available through the event’s official website: https://live.eventtia.com/es/fes-iberia26.

The conference will mark the starting point of FES’s 2026 international tour, which will cover nine strategic markets throughout the year, further consolidating its position as one of the most influential platforms in the global energy sector.

In this edition, the spotlight will be firmly on energy storage as a key vector for renewable energy deployment, alongside emerging regulatory frameworks and new investment schemes that are reshaping the Iberian power market.

Hundreds of senior energy executives are expected to attend, including CEOs, government officials, utility executives, manufacturers, developers, banks and investment funds. The event will also be live-streamed via FES’s official YouTube channel, extending its regional and international reach.

Confirmed partners for this edition include Wattkraft, Huawei, GameChange, Tera Batteries, Schletter and BLC Power Generation—companies at the forefront of technological solutions for renewable energy and storage, all of which will play an active role during the event.

In line with FES’s high-level profile, key public and private sector figures have already been confirmed, including:

  • Carmen López Ocón, Director of Renewable Energy and Electricity Markets at IDAE

  • Fátima García Señán, Deputy Director-General for Storage and Flexibility at MITECO

  • Manuel Larrasa Rodríguez, Secretary-General for Energy and Mining, Regional Government of Andalusia

They will be joined by industry leaders such as Jesús Heras, Technical Director South-West Europe at Wattkraft; Julio Castro, CEO of Iberdrola Renovables; and Óscar Aira, Managing Director Europe & Latin America at GameChange.

Within the energy storage and BESS solutions segment, Domingo Jesús López Álvarez, CEO of Tera Batteries, and Enrique de Ramón, Global Head of Business Origination & BESS at Zelestra, will assess trends in utility-scale storage, integration into wholesale electricity markets, and the monetisation of flexibility services.

Additional high-profile participants include:

  • Andrés Hernando – CTO – Huawei

  • Chema Zabala – Managing Director – Alantra Energy Transition

  • Jesús Manuel Gil Jiménez – Director of Hydrogen – Enagás

  • Ángel Alegría – Head of Commercial – Schletter

  • Arancha García – Chief Integration & Transformation Officer – Templus

  • Raúl García Posada – Director – ASEALEN

  • Emilia Lardizábal – Journalist – Energía Estratégica

  • Gastón Fenés – Journalist and Co-founder – Energía Estratégica

FES Iberia is recognised for its ability to create effective networking environments, where regional and global companies move forward with commercial agreements, strategic alliances and cooperation opportunities. This networking dynamic will once again be a core strength of the event, at a time when technology integration, energy traceability and investment optimisation require increasingly close collaboration between public and private stakeholders.

Against this backdrop, the participation of IDAE is particularly significant, following the launch of the second call of Spain’s Incentive Programme for Innovative Renewable Energy and Storage Projects, with a total budget of €202.5 million.

The programme prioritises five key areas:

  • Agrivoltaics (€75 million)

  • Collective self-consumption for vulnerable consumers (€40.5 million)

  • Integration of renewables into infrastructure (€40 million)

  • Renewable heat pumps (€30 million)

  • Floating solar PV (€17 million)

Applications will be open from 14 January to 19 February 2026 via the agency’s electronic platform. Analysis of this incentive framework, its practical application in real projects and its impact on sector competitiveness will be central topics in panels led by institutional representatives and executives with operations in the Iberian market.

Towards the close of the event, a series of sessions will focus on direct interaction between developers, manufacturers, investors and power system operators. These exchanges further consolidate FES as a prime setting to advance initiatives that promote energy efficiency, decarbonisation and applied innovation.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of FES Iberia Renewables & Storage 2026. Early Bird tickets are now available.
