The renewable energy sector continues to expand, with a notable increase in job vacancies in both Italy and Spain. In the last 24 hours, 61 new job openings were published. Milan and Madrid emerge as the epicenters of renewable employment, standing out for the number and diversity of available positions, according to an analysis conducted by Energía Estratégica España.

In Italy, technical roles predominate. “Progettista elettrico” leads with 3 vacancies in key companies such as Grupo Elecnor and Randstad Professional. Additionally, the role of “Renewable Senior Project Developer” reflects the growing need for specialists in renewable energy project development.

In Spain, the job offers diversify with positions such as consultant, technician, and engineer, focusing on the implementation of new technologies and sustainability projects. Notably, vacancies such as “Energy Regulation Specialist” are highlighted.

Regarding companies, Grupo Elecnor, Randstad Professional Italia, and Zelestra lead the Italian list, each with 3 recently published vacancies. In Spain, SACYR shares the lead with Elecnor, consolidating their position as key employers in both countries.

Other companies looking to expand their teams include Octopus Energy, Acciona, Sonnedix, and Solarig.

Work Modalities

Most positions in both countries are on-site, reflecting the need for direct supervision in technical projects. Italy reports 21 on-site vacancies out of a total of 34, while Spain shows a slightly higher proportion with 20 out of 28.

Hybrid and remote modalities, although less frequent, are gaining ground in administrative and strategic roles.

In Italy, Milan (Lombardy) leads with 7 vacancies, followed by Turin and Brescia. In Spain, Madrid leads with 10 active positions, with Andalusia and Galicia as other prominent regions. This highlights the dynamism of the capitals compared to areas with less activity.
