The Chief Executive Officer of EDP Spain warned that for every euro invested in power generation, only €0.40 is allocated to electricity grid infrastructure, while 40% of Europe’s power system is more than 40 years old. Speaking at FES Iberia 2026 before an audience of 500 executives, she also outlined the hybrid renewable energy and energy storage projects the company is advancing to provide greater flexibility to the power system.
