With electricity demand projected to grow by more than 25 GW by 2039 (around 43%), the Ministry of Energy is positioning energy storage as critical infrastructure. Between 2027 and 2030, 574 MW will be deployed in the first phase, followed by an additional 741 MW in the second phase and 2,216 MW linked to renewable energy projects.
