La Autoridad Nacional de Regulación en Energía de Rumanía (ANRE) informa que 1.228 proyectos con una potencia igual o superior a 1 MW cuentan con permisos de conexión a la red vigentes por un total de 60.817 MW. Solo el 11% de ellos está plenamente autorizado, y apenas 35 incorporan almacenamiento, con una capacidad total de 1.519 MW.
